About Christchurch

Christchurch is known as the Garden City and has historically been known for its English charm. In spite of the devastating earthquakes of 2010 and 2011, Christchurch is still the gateway to the South Island, and the home of new opportunities. Locals have responded with an innovative range of building projects and public art installations, making the city a refreshing mix of old and new.
