About Auckland Airport
Auckland Airport is located in Mangere on the Manukau Harbour, 20km south of Auckland's city centre.
Auckland boasts New Zealand's largest airport, handling more than 9 million passengers every year. Its domestic and international terminals connect Auckland and the rest of New Zealand with cities all over the world. More than 20 international airlines have Auckland as a destination and it is Australasia's second busiest airport.
In fact, retail income is Auckland Airport’s third-highest revenue generator with $157.5 million earned in the year ended June 2016 (second only to airfield income and airport tax income). With two new world-class duty-free stores, it'd be hard not spending money before flying out.
There are several cafés, restaurants and fast food outlets located at the airport and you can take advantage of their wireless hotspots and stay connected online as you wait for your flight.
