InterCity operates daily buses from Queenstown to Christchurch Central, which has convenient connections to the Metro bus routes #8 or #29 for onwards travel to Christchurch Airport.  The Queenstown to Christchurch Airport bus trip will take approximately 9 hours, including 45 minute trip on the Metro Bus.

Buses to Christchurch depart from Athol Street, in the middle of the car park, Queenstown, and arrive outside the Bus Interchange on Litchfield Street. To travel to Christchurch Airport, catch the #8 (Airport/Lyttleton) bus from Platform D or #29 (Airport/City via Fendalton) bus from Platform C.

Please allow at least 90 minutes between the scheduled arrival time at Christchurch Airport and your flight check-in time, as we cannot be responsible for missed flights due to delays.
