About Kerikeri

Kerikeri is the largest town in Northland and a popular tourist destination just a few hours' drive from Auckland.  It was home to some of New Zealand's earliest missionaries and some of the most historic buildings in the country. The Mission House is the oldest wooden structure still standing in New Zealand, and is administered by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust. Next to it is the Stone Store, also worth a visit to understand New Zealand's early history.

Kerikeri's subtropical climate and fertile soil makes it a great place for horticulture and there are many orchards and wineries in the area which you can visit and enjoy fresh local produce. Nature lovers enjoy the walk to Rainbow Falls on the Kerikeri River.
