InterCity® operates daily buses from Palmerston North to Gisborne with fares starting from $1 (+booking fee).  The trip will take approximately 7 hours and 30 minutes to reach your destination on a direct service.  

Buses to Gisborne depart from the main InterCity bus stop next to the i-SITE in The Square and arrive outside the Gisborne i-SITE, 209 Grey Street.

About Gisborne

The city of Gisborne is located on the north end of Poverty Bay and is named after an early Colonial Secretary William Gisborne. The city’s Kaiti Beach is the site of Captain Cook’s first landing in New Zealand.
