InterCity operates daily buses Albany to Whangarei. The bus from Albany to Whangarei takes 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Buses to Whangarei depart from the Albany Park and Ride Platform 1A, on the corner of Elliot Rose Avenue and Cornerstone Drive, Albany and arrive at the Northland Coach and Travel Centre, 3C Bank Street.
