Ka mau te wehi!
Experience started with a warm friendly welcome from reception wish I got his name but he had blonde hair under a beanie and blue karu he was the man very helpful, the tour guide chief was awesome I’ve been a few times and by far he’s the best guide I’ve had. Oosh and the corn 🌽 butter & salt my fave! Always gets better and better each time I go Ngā mihi to all the staff

Rude guide
Nice to see and experience geothermal activities but the same cant be said about the lady guid we had how was quite rude and so full of her self and her culture which frankly we were not too interested in, will never be going back or taking any of my visitors there again.

Interesting tour with views of geysers
We really enjoyed our morning tour. Thr guide provided lots of information and there was a viewing platform where we could watch the active geysers.

Geothermal, Māori ingenuity and sweetcorn
We had a wonderful walk around the bubbling geothermal hot pools followed by a tour around whakarewarera village. Our tour guide was incredible, a born story teller. Both moving and insightful. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn a little bit more about Aotearoas history, heritage and culture.
