From Packard Motor Museum - Entry & Self Guided Tour
Good Morning Dawn, have to agree with you on many points, people are surprised by the amount of "stuff" in our five buildings but also by how much is outside also. Some come in for a walk around the museum on the way to somewhere, but 2 hours later they are still finding those items that return and refresh memories of growing up or growing older. We too recommend it to all car, motorcycle enthusiasts with the condition that there is something here for everyone, inquisitive, enthusiast or just simply interested. Our road trip north
We journeyed some 300km to visit this museum and it was totally worth the trip What a fantastic place Great display and so much to take ln We rate it 10 out of 10

Hi Robert, Glad you found the museum to start with, Maungatapere is not the most well-known centre to find. The museum is certainly worth the effort of the travel. So much to take in is correct, we should advertise and recommend a 2 day visit for those who really love and know their mechanical and historical stuff. 10/10 is a good starting score- thank you for that. Hopefully, we'll see you again in the future, we'll try to keep up the standard. Cheers Mel...

The Red Convertible
Well, I didn't find the red convertible in the ad but I did find heaps of other amazing vehicles. Fantastic collection, great experience. Well worth a visit.

Packard Motor Museum
Last visited the museum in 2019 during our last trip to New Zealand, there is so much to see, we throughly enjoyed our second visit especially the collection of Velocette motorcycles.

old car museum
We booked Packard Museums through Book Me. We were so surprised how much there was to see. You could easily spend a few hours looking through these beautiful cars & motorbikes. There were sheds after sheds to see. Would highly recommend this for all car & bike enthusiastics.
