Hanmer ice skating
We went last year and this year... the rink was way too packed this year...it was boarderline dangerous. It was just too small a space to have 50 odd people on. Maybe do a limit? Safe number for the rink size

Too slippery not well made
Really dissapointing, glad didn’t pay full price. Skates not sharp so very slippery on surface which hadn’t been constructed well. Hope kids don’t get hurt. Last years was way better!

Skating in the city
Excellent holiday activity, fun for all ages, especially the kids. Not too big for the little ones either. Skate aids make it possible for all abilities to give it a go. Great to be in the city to explore cafes etc after.
