Wärmstens zu empfehlen
Wir hatten einen sehr kompetenten und bemühten Guide, der nicht nur viel seines Wissens über Pinguine mit uns geteilt hat, sondern auch über viel über die Landschaft, die (Landschafts-)Geschichte, Flora, Fauna und vor allem die bedeutsame Naturschutzarbeit zu berichten wusste. Jeder Teilnehmer bekam ein Fernglas und zusätzlich wurde auch ein Teleskop aufgestellt. Letztlich haben wir etwa 20 Pinguine im Meer und ein paar an Land zu Gesicht bekommen. Auch zwei Pelzrobben haben wir gesehen. Ich habe sehr viel Freude an der Tour gehabt und viel gelernt! Diese Tour ist wärmstens zu empfehlen!

Unique Experience!
Ben ia our guide, he explain a lot useful info about Akaroa & the penguin, he share a lot Penguin knowledge with us. Nice tour & very unique. Thanks for the team to let the blue penguin population increase!

You shouldn’t miss this tour
Tour guide Kelvin is very professional and knowledgeable, gave us a some informative lectures and close-up experiences with little blue bird and his sheeps, definitely worth it !

A splendid experience with Pohatu Penguins
The tour is beyond our expectation. Our guide, who also served as our driver, was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic, not to mention an excellent driver. Feeding the adorable sheep at the base was a delightful surprise. We felt very lucky—not only did we see penguins resting at the reserve, but we also spotted several groups of little blue penguins swimming in the ocean. Besides, two seals. On the way to the bay, we were greeted by a stunning sea of clouds, and on the return journey, a brilliant red sun lit up the sky. Lovely tour.

Exkursion zu den Pinguinen
Die Tour - eher eine biologische Exkursion - war super! Joey hat sehr viel über ihre Arbeit mit den Pinguinen berichtet. Und einen Teil der Arbeit konnten wir mit verfolgen. Das war sehr informativ und hat viel Spaß gemacht. Für alle, die an biologischen und ökologischen Fragestellungen interessiert sind ein "muss"!
