We are pleased to announce that from bus services between Kaikoura and Christchurch have resumed! State Highway 1 south of Kaikoura is currently closed, our services are using the Inland Route.
Unfortunately due to the road conditions north of Kaikoura, services between Kaikoura and Picton remain cancelled until further notice. If you're wanting to travel between Kaikoura and Picton the best way is to stay overnight in Christchurch.
You can still book travel between Nelson and Christchurch on our new bus services. This now involves transferring onto a connecting bus at Murchison.
Morning services between Christchurch and Picton (8707 & 8712) will continue to travel via the Lewis Pass. Please note that we are not offering pickups on 8712 south of Blenheim, or on 8707 north of Waipara.
Services 8708 and 8711 between Christchurch and Picton remain cancelled until further notice.
Our 8701 and 8715 Nelson to Picton services have been combined into one service departing Nelson at 9.15am.
This means a shorter wait in Picton for passengers continuing to Wellington by ferry.
