Picton to Nelson

(Ex Picton only) The seaside town of Picton is the first port of call for many visitors to the South Island as the Interislander ferry arrives here. Continue along the coast to sunny Nelson, known for its fresh produce and arts and crafts scene.

Nelson/Greymouth to Franz Josef

Travel down the West Coast from either Nelson or Greymouth to the glacier town of Franz Josef.

Franz Josef to Queenstown

Cross over the Haast Pass in the Southern Alps into Central Otago, arriving in idyllic Queenstown.
