Awesome tour

I highly recommend the art tour at Te Papa. Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the works on display. And it was great to learn more about the artists and their works, including information that you will only find out about by talking to a curator.

Excellent experience!

Loved the opportunity to walk through Te Papa with a friendly expert - great way to take in key highlights of the expansive art collection. We now understand why certain art is there, how decisions were made, and what it means. Gives so much more depth and meaning than just walking around on ones own. My partner and I were lucky enough to have the tour to ourselves, and could ask our guide about the works as we walked around.

Had a great time

I got lucky and got my own private tour being the only person there. My guide Ruth was so lovely. She's passionate about the arts there and I got to find out little things and trivias that I wouldn't get to otherwise. Definitely recommended!
