Wei said... It was a fantastic boat trip, thanks to the skipper, guide, and crew for making it such a memorable experience. Their patience and relaxed pace gave us plenty of time to truly enjoy the water and the views without feeling rushed. A picky wish would be to have gotten just a little closer to the waterfalls. Also, shoutout to Johnny the coach driver for his steady hand and impeccable driving through the windy road. His calm professionalism and the occasional joke made the ride smooth and relaxing. However, despite the extremely small group departing from Te Anau at 7:45am, the sightseeing stopover felt a bit rushed at times, largely due to some fellow passengers (the Aussies couple!) eager to move on too quickly (not the fault of the driver though). Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
