Enjoy your adventure on a specialised Rockhopper Elite Hardtail Bike, as this easy, family-friendly ride follows the scenic riverside trails between Lake Hāwea and Lake Wānaka. Start off with a shuttle from Central Wanaka to Lake Hawea, where you’ll be provided with an overview of the route, a safety briefing, and a test ride to ensure that your bike is comfortable for you.
Then you'll have all day to explore the local area at your own pace. Make stops along the way to enjoy the scenery, take photos, relax, or grab a bite to eat at one of the many cafes and restaurants. A favourite stop is the Patisserie in Albert Town, an award-winning bakery.
On arrival in Wanaka, you’ll be pick up with your bike and returned to Central Wanaka. This experience involves 2-3 hours of riding, with plenty of time for stops along the way we recommend allowing for4-5 hours!

Amazing Experience
I booked this experience solo and had an amazing experience. James picked me up from Wanaka town and gave me a private shuttle to Lake Hawea. Along the way, he gave clear instructions for the route and pointed out some details about the local area. He was very kind and I had a great time! The trail is pretty moderately easy and beautiful views the whole way!

These guys run a great operation. James was punctual, knowledgeable & fun! The ebikes were awesome & a breeze to ride. The track and views.....fantastic! This was our first ebike experience & we highly recommend it 👌

Cannot rate this experience high enough, it’s a must do whilst in Wanaka! David was fabulous, gave detailed directions, the e-bikes we hired were great, all in all we LOVED this day, thank you David and team.

Fun easy ride with spectacular views
David is such a friendly and personable guy and adds to a great experience. Highly recommend the bike trials in this region .. just do it .. you won’t regret it. David’s recommendation for where to stop at the end .. fabulous idea ..

A wonderful experience and stunning cycle ride
Very friendly guy that collected us - knowledgeable and friendly. Bikes were great and the route along the rivers and lakes were just stunning. A really wonderful experience
