Had the most amazing and experienced guide Theo. Had lots of fun and good chats. The whole day went so quickly and was incredibly enjoyable. Highlights along the Great Ocean Road were the koalas and the bull that ran across the road in front of us.
The tour was amazing! I’d highly recommend it to others. Warren was an incredible tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and maximized our experience. I even saw kangaroos jump right next to my window! It was an unforgettable experience. I’ve always wanted to see kangaroos in the wild. The views were breath taking! We also saw many koalas in the trees.
I can't recommend this tour highly enough. We were fortunate to score tour guide Theo, who only works three days a week. His knowledge of the areas he took us to was phenomenal, and he was super organised and super friendly. I was fortunate to score a seat on the left side of the bus, which was the closest to the spectacular views along the Great Ocean Road. I lost track of how many stops we had across the day - 10 to 12 I think. This included an unscheduled detour to spot kangaroos, which we did, and three random koala spotting spots, which rewarded us with 8 koalas. The icing on the cake was spotting a humpback whale breaching when we were just along from the 12 Apostles. We had a sufficient length of time to stop for an unrushed lunch at lovely little Apollo Bay. Theo's recommendation of George's Greek Restaurant saw me score a huge and delicious gluten free pizza for just $23 - although it wasn't actually the pizza I ordered (new guy, I think). But yummy nonetheless, and it did me for lunch and dinner. Unlike some day long tours I've been on, there were plenty of toilet stops ... I think the longest gap was 2.5 hours. Overall, a thoroughly wonderful experience ... and just $AU60 through BookMe ($AU137 direct). NOICE!
Highly recommend. Tour guider is so nice and funny. We had a lot of great exp and enjoy our time. 😊😊
