sooz said... The Thirsty Peacock remains consistent with excellent food and a changing menu. Asparagus soup and dumplings were excellent starters. A perfectly cooked steak followed and braised lamb which was a change from racks or shanks. One dessert of mango and coconut shortbread and ice-cream was a hit. Pity that Macs cider on the menu has been replaced by cans of much sweeter offerings and that the Main Divide wine offerings didn't include pinot gris. Service is a little slow especially the initial drinks one. But, we rate this restaurant and shall return.
