Worth A Day Trip...

Gary Le Petit said... The trip to Green Island took a leisurely 75 mins each way & the crew were helpful & courteous enough. However, the boat was full & Green Island itself was packed. We walked around to the far side of the island & snorkelled away from the masses. There's also an attractive rainforest walk through the centre which is certainly worth doing. Overall, if you want a really good Great Barrier Reef snorkelling experience, then we'd recommend taking a tour out to the edge of the reef; but if you just want a convenient day's outing on a small, pretty island, then this trip would suit.
