The police are appealing for help after a body was found along the Auckland Waterfront.

Witness statements don’t match up and it appears to be accidental. Since this is a high-profile case, the Chief called for their Top Detective… You!

To solve this murder mystery, you and your team will have to eliminate suspects by visiting points of interest, “talk” to witnesses, and solve the location-based clues. The case will take you exploring all over the Auckland Waterfront.

You don’t need any specific knowledge, only your logic, creativity and teamwork.

  • PLAYERS PER GROUP: 2 - 6 (Price is per group and not per person)

    ROUTE & DURATION: 15 Riddles along 2.5 km and takes on average 1.5 hours.

    AGE: Perfect for families. Kids of all ages welcome, but to actively play we recommend ages 8+.


    START LOCATION: Corner of Galway St and Britomart Place in Auckland City Centre

    (next to Mexico).

    END LOCATION: Near the Auckland Fish Market (Jellicoe St)

Great fun

As a family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers, this was a great activity to do. Even though Auckland is a place we are familiar with, we didn't know the stories of the murals for example. We would recommend this to groups who want to get out and explore. One thing to note is the lovers locks were removed in Nov 2025 so we recommend the game designers to update the plots.

Fabulous

We were looking for something different to do apart from just wandering around the city taking in the sites. This was the best way to do just that! We found things we would have just walked past before and not noticed! It was great! Nice easy flat walking, we could do at our own pace. Everything on our phones, so everyone could see and hear all the clues etc. Looking forward to doing our next one on my next trip over!
