Catch a cheap bus from Christchurch to Nelson. The Christchurch to Nelson bus trip is completed in two legs and takes approximately 7 hours and 30 minutes with regular stops along the way. The main bus stop in Nelson is outside the Travel Centre at 27 Bridge St.
