"As a tourism operator we take domestic and international tourists around New Zealand to visit our country's top sightseeing spots, which often involve getting close to wildlife. It is important to us that we give back to the environment by supporting conservation programmes that protect our valuable and unique wildlife."
"Recently we expanded our business to purchase Kings Dolphin Cruises and Tours in Paihia. We understand the importance of not only treasuring, but helping to sustain our wildlife. We are committed to protecting our environment so that domestic and international tourists can enjoy it for many years to come," said Mr Rode.
Stewart Brown the general manager of Rainbow Springs Ltd is delighted to partner with InterCity Group on this initiative.
"It costs more than $400,000 per year to operate this programme and we are very pleased that InterCity Group has come on-board in support of what we do. Being a fellow tourism operator, I feel our partnership will create more opportunities to educate domestic and international tourists about the importance of saving the Kiwi," he said.
