InterCity Group yesterday launched its new interactive tourist brand, awesomeNZ, which will allow tourists to experience some of New Zealand's most culturally engaging and thrilling experiences.
awesomeNZ brings together some of InterCity Group's most deeply interactive tourism experience that challenge the senses and enrich the soul. From swimming with dolphins in the Bay of Islands to guided Maori experiences into the world of mythology in Northland's Hokianga Harbour - there is something for every type of traveller.
"awesomeNZ takes the very best of our land, our people and our stories and delivers them in a unique and truly world-class product," says InterCity Group's sales and marketing manager, Daniel Rode.
"These experiences are not sightseeing tours but a truly up close and personal encounter with New Zealand."
There are currently six experiences within the awesomeNZ stable, five of which are based in the Bay of Islands. There is also scenic tour and intimate nature cruise that will take travellers into the breathtaking Milford Sound, with daily departures from Queenstown and Te Anau.
All experiences are either part or full day trips and prices start from as little as $86.00 per person. Tours can be booked online at www.awesomenz.com or through any i-SITE within New Zealand.

InterCity is committed to expanding awesomeNZ and plans to launch other products over the next year.
The level of interaction is left up to the individual traveller. Each experience has highly trained, passionate and knowledgeable local staff - who will involve and guide tourists through each activity with care and attention.
